Woman robbed of purse at Upper Cross Street
Police are looking for two men who allegedly robbed a woman yesterday shortly after 10 in the evening.
The crime occurred at Block 536, Upper Cross Street.
The female victim - a Chinese woman in her 40s - was returning home from work.
She was walking up the stairs when she noticed two men following her.
One of them quickly pointed a sharp object to her chin, demanding her handbag containing S$200 in cash, a handphone and some personal documents.
Police spokesperson, William Goh with a description of both assailants.
"Both men are described at 1.7m tall, wearing black t-shirts, jeans and caps. And both are tanned in complexion."
Mr Goh said the two assailants then fled towards Cecil Street.
