34 Years Old unemployed accountant attempts lift robbery with vegetable knife due to dire financial situation at home.
On the night of 29 June 2012, he decided to go to the city center to scout for potential robbery victim. As he approaches a
high-end condominium, he notices a Ms Wang approaching with her house keys in hand.
He follows her into the elevator and presses the button for the 28th floor while Ms Wang presses the 14th floor of her flat.
As the elevator door opens on the 14th floor, he draws out a vegetable knife and prevents Ms Wang from existing. In the
struggle, he slashes her more than 20 times seriously injuring her bodily.
The robbery as caught on CCTVs around the condominium and the elevator leading to speedy police arrest on 2 July 2012.
Ms Wang has seen came out of coma and is recovering at a local hospital. Doctors are concerned that the functioning of her
limps will be severely restricted due to her injuries.
