SINGAPORE - A 36-year-old, who made a false '995' call to report a fire after a disagreement with a colleague, is under investigation by the police.

The woman, a cleaner at Bukit Batok East Community Club, had reported a fire at the community club.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force responded only to find no fire on the premises.

The police then conducted an investigation and discovered that the woman had made the call after a dispute with a colleague.

The police are still investigating the case. Anyone found guilty of making of transmitting a false message can be fined up to $10,000 or jailed up to three years.
