Police in Shanghai’s Chongming county checked into a strange incident at a hospital there, where a middle-aged woman began repeatedly slapping a doctor because she was displeased with the medical diagnosis given.
The police learned that the 44-year-old woman was accompanying her mother who was seeing the doctor for a case of diarrhea, and that woman wasn’t pleased with the female doctor’s diagnosis for her mother.
Incidentally she started an argument with the female doctor and began slapping her, causing soft tissue damage.
The woman in question refused to admit to any illegal behavior, but the police have detained her for 10 days and fined her 500 RMB.
