Woman beaten by doctor for asking to see her medical report

A woman was beaten up by a doctor when she demanded to see the medical report on her illness, reported Harian Metro.

Quoting sources, the report said the 40-year-old doctor had hit the woman on the face and even threatened to inject her with a poisonous drug. The incident was said to have happened at the doctor’s clinic in Subang Jaya on Wednesday.

According to the sources, the woman’s fiance, who tried to calm the situation, was also attacked and beaten up.

The woman had gone to see the doctor to demand for her medical record so she could seek treatment at another clinic after her fever did not subside despite having seen the doctor several times.

“This made the doctor to lose his temper and he started attacking her,” said the sources .At one point, the doctor was also said to have trampled on the woman after she fell.

Both the woman and her fiance have lodged a police report.
