A woman was arrested after she was seen protesting on top of Crawford Bridge in Kallang.

The incident took place at close to 5pm on Friday.

Eyewitnesses say the Chinese woman, 59, was seen wearing a cape that looked like the Hong Kong flag.

In her hands was a banner with words and pictures printed on it, which she waved about from time to time.
