On 5 February 2009, the Chinese daily Lianhe Zaobao published a full page editorial carrying veiled threats from a police inspector to arrest netizens spreading baseless and unfounded rumors about Yio Chu Kang MP Seng Han Thong who was torched by a disgruntled ex-cabby last month.

but actually it was Wanbao and Sin Ming who publish the reasons of why the MP is torched.

So do you think he will honour his words and arrest the real culprits? The reporter, chief editor or even SPH?

Why isn't Wanbao and Sin Meng edited the main English papers, Straits Times. Is this part of the speak Mandarin campaign, where mandarin readers get uncensored news!
