1. Png Eng Huat is not qualified.
Let's face it. Png Eng Huat is a kind man. He is willing to serve. However, he does not have the intellectual level to be an MP. His involvement in WP-setting up tables for MPS, distributing food rations and the like of such activities. I can get a JC student to do the same for CIP hours.
2. Png Eng Huat has shown that he is, but a little child who cannot pull his own weight.
This is something WP recognize as well. Hence, LTK has to keep reminding Hougang residents that he will take care of us still. This clearly shows that Png is not capable of accomplishing the duties of an MP and LTK knows that very well.
Look at the walkabouts. Why must LTK be there with Png. LTK is literally holding Png, a child's hand and bringing him for walkabouts.
There is a reason why in the campaign leaflets, LTK's letter is longer than Png Eng Huat's. This is not Png's election. It is LTK trying to guilt-trip the Hougang residents into supporting Png simply because of his association with LTK.
WP calls for "voting for the party". The simple reason is that WP cannot field capable candidates. Yes, LTK, Sylvia Lim and CSM are all capable people. So was YSL. But the fact is, if we look past them and the fapsness of Glenda, WP has no substance.
3. WP is a party that is rotten and ailing.
Once thought to be their proudest groomed talent (YSL), is a coward who flees at the sight of trouble. Committing adultery is not the issue here, it is how he refused to answer for it that remains the problem. YSL is the product of the WP system, and it seems that the system fails.
The Dr. Zeng case is another example. He ran for Bukit Timah in the 1991 elections-an indication that WP held him in high regard. Yes, this is the kind of men WP holds in regard.
Finally, the Dr Poh case. This case shows that there is internal problems within WP. LTK coming out to criticize Poh in public shows that there is little unity within WP.
