Looking around Spore you will find PAP fingers into all sorts of businesses.
Why is a political party a wannabe PAP Inc?

They are paid millions & yet they are not happy & still want to do sideline businesses Don't they find the running of a country challenging enough

If they think they can do better in business, they should GO & make room for others who are actually interested in forming the gov't.

Of cos! If I tax you, take the money, and sell things at a lower price then you, who is at the losing end?

No wonder SMEs in singapore all cannot tahan, close down. By the way, SMEs create the most jobs.....

Just that MNCs one time create a number of jobs, but they have no loyalty.

When they become obscenely rich (objective 1) with money from singaporeans, they easily have singaporeans' balls in their hands (objective 2).

So it is only logical that the PAP makes the ENTIRE Singapore its own private business enterprise to return impressive profits for it's balance sheet year on year, who cares if Singaporeans are dying on the streets or if the social fabric is breaking apart.

PAP makes YOU the resource, so YOU are MEANT to be exploited.

But PAP already being paids millions. or rather overpaid millions. Why do people like LKY need more

They don't pay any taxes. LKY's sons & daughters all have "lifetime" well paid jobs. They don't even have to pay for any medical bills. LKY has so much $$$ that he's embarassed to reveal how much, isn't that why the death taxes was revoked?

People set up businesses because they want to make money. Don't think the Lees have shown any business acumen

I'm sure they have their own private businesses but people are complaining about Temasek, which was supposedly set up to make money for the state. Why is Temasek competing with local businesses? Why treat Temasek like a family business when the family is already getting millions each month & has not shown any business acumen?
