SINGAPORE: A man has been charged in court with sexual abuse of three young girls.
Emmanuel Lim Chin Pin, 21, is accused of committing indecent acts, sexually abusing and attempted sexual penetration of three 14-year-olds.
Lim faces nine charges. The incidents occurred between July 2010 and April this year.
Under the Children and Young Persons Act, Lim faces a maximum penalty of seven years' jail and $20,000 fine for committing indecent acts.
For having sex with a child, Lim could be jailed up to 10 years and fined.
If convicted of attempted sexual penetration, he could be jailed up to 10 years and fined.
