[h=1]Why must the PAP Govt use our money to subsidize ‘others’?[/h]
Why is it the PAP govt must use our monies to subsidize companies, is this not the same where there is no MINIMUM WAGE and the boss will pay you a crappy wage that is not in relation to the cost of living or “ Swiss Standard of living” here?
Will the boss not take that subsidy for himself and still pay the same low wage?
Why cant the PAP Govt lower its rental cost for these companies, why can’t we get Temasek who uses our CPF monies to invest in these companies and hire Singaporeans at the same time.
How come the budget did not touch on the SURPLUS from GIC and Temasek, are Singaporeans not shareholders, and don’t we deserve the profits too?
The surplus can be used to provide free education for all Singaporeans up to tertiary level and medical should be free to all Singaporeans as we are a minority now.
What makes health care cost and education so expensive today, show us the actual breakdown and let us identify where we can reduce cost, just like HDB public housing, show us the cost breakdown.
Education and health care should be first class to all Singaporeans, there should not be any “CLASS A, B , C” , we should have the GOLD standard for all Singaporeans whether rich or poor, because we are Singaporeans.
Singaporeans have given the mandate that is we do not want a 6.9 million population as the 5.3 million population is creating chaos, and wreaking havoc on our lives.
Singaporeans don’t need any subsidy if the PAP govt did its job and made some real money for Singaporeans.
Today we have threats from SME’s that they will pack up and leave to another country, I think this is good because to begin with the SME don’t want to hire Singaporeans in the first place, and once the move, the foreigners will likely be jobless and the SME will realize that they don’t have the muscle to squeeze the local people in their own country, and some might even have to pay protection money to operate in those areas or towns.
I think it’s a WIN-WIN for Singaporeans and the SME, if the SME thinks that the overall cost of operating in Singapore is too high, than they should make their voices be heard, don’t say that the “Singaporean does not want to work”
Whether the economy goes up or down, it’s of no difference in our lives, because only the corporations and rich benefit, where the average and poor become worse off.
Our problem is like a person who’s borrowing from one credit card to pay for the other!
What’s the root cause, please share your thoughts and suggestions in the comments section!
Cheers,
