why must all PE candidates compelled to speak mandarin?

this is really absurd! but it's such a daily affair that many singaporeans forgot to pause and think over it.

sgp is multi-racial. mandarin is not our national language. malay is by the way. when the PE wannabes compelled themselves to speak mandarin during national tv, it really made them look stupid! half the mandarin speaking voters may not even understand their forced mandarin narration. why then did they speak to make themselves look ludicrous? president or clown in the making?

majority speak english. by forcing all the PE wannabes to speak in mandarin constituted to making a fools out of them. with the technology available, all their english speeches could have been dubbed into relevant languages in the relevant channels to the relevant viewers.

tcs our national tv really crapped and embarrassed all 4 PE wannabes and should be censored thoroughly.

Majority of the targeted voters speaks mandarin lah! They are not bothered by the blue blood born & bred Singaporeans! They are only interested in the new migrants ah tiong & tiong kok bu! Shit skin will move on to San Francisco sooner or later by SQ via Incheon & Kansai airport! Ah tiong are here to stay because they are now the blue eye tiong of the ruling party! Ever notice why the rubbish bin opening has changed from the side of the bins to the top of the bins with extra big opening these last ten years? It's for the convenience of the ah tiong so that they can learn to live like proper human and at the same time continue their spitting ways and hopefully instead of teaching their kids to just pee at the longkang, they can carry their kids up & panjio into the bin with the extra wide opening!

ludicrously, when the 4 PE wannabes spoke mandarin, it was grotesquely painful to the ears - more like a linguistic clowning to express themselves. then why were they being compelled to oblige speaking in mandarin in such painfully manner?
