why isnt alexandra hospital expanded?

Even with it old building . I like Alexandra Hosp the most due to it natural environment.

Alexandra hospital is going to be fully shifted to new premises in 2015
Probably to KTH

I remember watching a documentary with eyewitness reports of the massacre of British patients during WWII

Anyone know if this hospital is haunted:confused:

All hospitals bound to have their own haunted stories. From my police experience visiting hospitals after midnite, most scary was Changi Hospital. Never had the chance to visit AH then.

Same for school premises, especially the older ones. Army camps same same.

friend saw one smashed up girl walking corridor at nuh during seventh month. only told us after we left. i am certified blind to the other side. i cant see them even if they are nearby

AH is also near to Depot Road.
During WW2, there was heavy fighting in that area.
After WW2, MPAJA came out and killed many running dogs (chinese, malay and Indian who worked with Kempetai).

With so many old buildings being demolished it will soon be difficult to find a haunted place:)

all that bothers to our avaricious gahmen is money. only more money matters to them.

alexandra hospital sits smack on the central location which also a goldmine. just imagine how much the gahmen shall make if they build condos by registering their cronies as shareholders in a development company?

that's a large piece of real estate stretching to the Queensway flyover / portsdown area. a mixture of public and private housing will tone down the talk of membership privileges accorded to the cronies.

Only in Changi you can still find old buildings that used to belong to the British Army..

The ambience & serenity around AH's compound is Great !; there's a rustic charm which i can't describe in words,
each time i show up for my dentaL appointment twice a year.
It wouLd be sad if it's going to be redeveLoped one day...
