Judges don't have to be arm-twisted by the PAP to rule "appropriately" in SG. The judiciary know perfectly what is good and safe for them. LKY already made an example of then Senior District Judge, Michael Khoo who was demoted for doing his job i.e. ruling based on his own conscience.
