19 YEAR-OLD NSF COMMITS SUICIDE, 3RD CASE IN RECENT WEEKS

In another tragic case of youth suicide in Singapore, another 19 year-old national serviceman has been found dead last night after he allegedly committed suicide by jumping from a HDB block following an argument with his brother.

The teenager, who is a permanent resident from the Philippines, was spotted by a neighbour lying in a pool of his own blood at the foot of block 428 along Clementi Avenue 3 at about 11.30PM yesterday night.

According to a friend of the deceased, the youth had been emotional the night before he died. The friend, who did not want to be named, said that this was probably because of a fight the youth had with his brother.

However, the mother of the youth said that he did not behave unusually the night that he died and was shocked by how sudden his death had been.
