Why do $$$Ministers Turn Blind Eye to Widespread Abuse of S-Pass/EP?

While they can spend time tracking down and persecuting the Oppos. Is it not clear by now that the FAP harbours the intention to replace SGs with foreigners to perpetuate their power?

PM Lee, please take action and don’t just talk!
Please ask MOM close the S-pass and EP department and resort to using innovative/creative ways to boost the economy rather than importing foreigners to improve GDP! For example, ask employers to give MOM 3 “quotations/resumes” and write letters giving reasons why cannot employ Singaporean for the job so as to make employers give up applying for S-pass/EP.
Many Singaporeans can accept foreign workers on work permit but cannot accept foreigners on S-pass/EP. Singaporeans can work as clerks/engineers/technicians, etc but local employers simply apply S-pass for foreigners and MOM did not even check and approved. Many employers just applied S-pass and EP and stated salary as $2000 and S$3000 resepctively when actual salaries paid to foreigners are only S$1300 (S-pass) and S$2100 (EP). This practice has been going on for years and MOM has failed to check at all.
So, as taxpayer and paymaster, we request MOM to check all employers and report to public those employers who are paying much less to foreigners than what were stated in their permit applications so as to meet the salary requirement!
Because MOM did not do thorough checking and thus allowed employers to pay low to hire these foreigners instead of local Singaporeans, Singaporeans has less job opportunities. No point blaming Singaporeans asking for high pay when this is the fault of local employers and MOM!
Because of MOM, many local Singaporeans lost their jobs. MOM has failed in its duty!

In Australia if u want to employ a foreigner u have to justify why this job is so special that u have to employ a foreigner. Also u have to provide evidences that the employer have resorted to all avenues that local cannot be found to fill the job. In Australia, there is a critical lists of the type of jobs that are critically in need. In China or other countries, if it is an expatriate the company has to prove a letter of invites and also their type of jobs. The letter has to have to be signed by the CEO of the parent company.
Besides S pass and Emplyment pass, the Entrepass need to be abolished as the criteria is too laxed and also we need not need them as many foreigners are using this avenue to come in. The objective is to get foreigner to open a business in Singapore but after 7 years there are abuses and the holders have used pseudo company or shell company. Paid up capital of S$50k to set up, also there is not check and balance by mom. Is Singapore so short of entrepenuer? The real cause is the business environment does not encouraged it. Also government and PSB and EDBs are not doing anything to encourage locally bred entrepreneur.

Private PRC student who just graduated could not speak and write simple English and without any prior working experience was issued a S-pass to work as a Condo Manager with a Managing Agent called Savills CKH. Minimum salary for S-pass is $2,000 and that’s what she’s being paid. Does this mean that Singaporeans are not qualified for such jobs?

It sounds so ridiculous when Singaporeans are losing jobs to foreigners and yet our ministers are paid in the millions per year/ What justice and fairness is there? Sack the PAP from the government and elect a new government by GE2016.

Yes friends, this is what we get after voting them in for 50 yrs as leaders.
They get rich and wealthy, and they bugger the ordinary Singaporens to such an extend that they realise economy will collapse. So they rush out and get forigners to come and prop the economy!
In other countries such a Ponzi scheme would have been exposed by the press. But we have ‘pros’ and ‘pimps’ working there that it works against our interest.
Well, can’t say we don’t derserve this – if we were such a stupid soceity to behave like sheeps, then we deserved to be slaughtered like sheep.
Or we can stnad up and be counted and say no this is wrong. Do what we little we can to stop this atrocity.
And remember, however little will help.
