Why Ah Neh shake their head when they talk?

Im not trying to be racist but just wondering loudly....why ah neg always shake head when they talk? Is it in their genes or just a habit?

I was at a chinese resaurant the other day and the server was an Indian. He can speak Mandarin but still shake his head when speaking?

If I try to make him stop shaking head, will he stop talking or just cannot think straight when talking?

Anyone tried before?

Why are you complaining? It is a sure giveaway. They shake their heads to disguise unintentional non-verbal clues to whether they are lying or telling the truth.

But the intensity and rhythm of their shaking gives a clue as to how reliable their words are. A quick, continuous rhythm means that he is not listening or totally disagreeing with you.

A slow deliberate shake means that he could be shaken which gives you the signal to press home your argument. This is the source of the traditional belief that a ahake is same as a nod.

A jerky, hesitating shake means he is debating internally whether to decide one way or the other.

See you can read his head shake like an open book. Why would you want to stop it?

My fucking god if it were me i wouldn't even patronize that chinese restaurant. It's like seeing a keling server inside a japanese restaurant. Did you check to make sure the chefs weren't kelings?
