This week the very worrying development of crying wolf and drumming up national sentiment in the face of a manufactured "crisis" to distract from failing domestic policies and support, more preaching and suppression and a clear sign that the international community is also looking on Singapore with little respect.
These are challenging times and ones where Singaporeans need a reality check and would do well to take a long hard look at why things are as they are and who is really to blame. Time for us all to think of better solutions instead of treading the old worn and outdated paths that no longer serve us.
