A man is believed to have been injured by a piece of falling debris at Seng Kang MRT station.

According to citizen journalism website Stomp, a fixture on the station ceiling seemed to have fallen off and hit the man.

Photos submitted by netizens show a man clad in a light-coloured t-shirt and jeans lying on the ground.

He was surrounded by people, including MRT staff.

SINGAPORE: A window cleaner is now in hospital after he fell through the roof and landed on the concourse in front of the control room of Sengkang train station.

The man was sent to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital with multiple fractures.

According to the Civil Defence Force, the man in his twenties was cleaning windows when he fell.
