Wasn't he supposed to do well being anti-China, holding American's balls and singing "America Pie"? We also know the same about Japan and its economy. SK is technically at war with NK, facing constant missile threats from Rocket Man, totally different scenario from S'pore.

In fact, Singapore might be the most suitable country to implement full democracy with a more balanced parliament as we enjoy relative peace with none of the problems of democratic countries like SK or Taiwan.
