Some of you will remember Lucky as an alumnus for SBF having first started here airing his views. In 2005 he ventured on his own and did well. Very topical, deep analysis backed by research and later by quality info graphics.

In March 2013, he stopped and in April Redbean sounded the alarm. He returned in May but wrote his last in June 2013.

Hope he is well and to thank him for his many excellent articles He also had an ardent crowd of followers and the comments that followed his articles bore that out.

Moneyhelp234 was the first forummer to weave satire and sarcasm to push home a political point, long before our indefatigable Leongsam learnt the ropes.

His blog attracted dozens of comments per posts, and page views were excellent, reflecting his popularity. Written in for the layman to understand, fancy charts and graphs used from time to time and in a way that is easily understood. Clearly he also got his basic economic theory down pat. Can probably challenge GMS to debate and win.

He actually struck me as a young chap despite his writings reflecting maturity. And I have no idea why.

the lack of jokes about geylang whorehouses and shagging the stewardess on airlines perhaps?

He is a joy to read.

His command of English language is not that superb but he does put all his points together in a very layman term and it is very easy to understand. Couple with his sound grab of economic, he is quite a good writer. But who is this chap Lucky Tan ?
