today's article in ST about married men who run away to overseas with other woman leaving their wives and kids behind.

I feel depressed when children are made to suffer because of such irresponsible fathers.

I came across one who took all the family's savings to run off with woman to Philippines, leaving non-working wife and 2 sons behind. What's in the heads of these guys, anyway? Small head rule big head?

That's absolutely disgusting behaviour! These sorts of men should be castrated.

hmm its sad that this kind of thing happens... sure will have scar in the minds of the kids.. furthermore so difficult for the family to survive.

on the flip side, there always seem to be a lot of male-bashing in the ST, although there are cases of female infidelity also.

Neither am I perfect , but my point is, whether man or woman, whether infidelity or not, should not neglect our responsibility to our kids as father/mother. We are the world to them, at that tender age, in spite of all our flaws.

Yeapz totally, i agree with you on that... since we as adults and as parents have full responsibility to nurture and bring up our kids. They are not just merely byproducts of a fun process... but our own flesh and blood.

a lot of societal problems actually start out from familial problems and that really sucks!

I hope things get better for those kids...
