when every country kneel to US in tariff tax

Tax cut as spelled out in his "one big beautiful bill"? That one has quite a few problems like increasing US national debt by a few trillion dollars, cutting healthcare, not benefiting low income earners, etc.

Exporters eating tariffs may well happen, if their focus is on market share and hopefully make up for lost profits through volume.

Cutting health care for those who are cheating the system and those who actually don't qualify in the first place eg illegal aliens.

Don't believe everything you hear especially if it's from the dying mainstream media.

There is no deal with any country. No signed agreement or official notification. Trump is playing hoker poker with tariffs escalating de-escalating causing turmoil.

China has the Trump card in rare earths so US need china more than China need US.
ACS will never get it.

It's a form of taxation but it penalise local manufacturing that needed foreign parts and machinery. Unless these, are tax exempt or can be reimbursed.

Latest US to China after failed trade talk in Sweden, but the new soup did not changed any ingredients
1/ Buy US$700 Billion in US bond
2/ Unconditional sale of rare earth for military and commercial use
3/ Stop any trade between China and Russia
in return for
1/ lifting of hi-tech hard/soft ware sale to China

The biggest spending cuts target Medicaid and food stamps—programs that serve the poorest Americans. The CBO estimates these changes will cause 11.8 million people to lose their health insurance by 2034.

Sounds about right to me. It's to prevent people from ripping off the system.

Besides who ever came up with this philosophy that healthcare is RIGHT in the first place. People seem to think that it's the government's job to keep you alive for as long as possible which was never the case since the dawn of time till about 60 years ago when all this "welfare" crap came about.

When my arteries are all clogged up or I'm dying of cancer it's God's way of saying that your time has come to meet your maker. Governments shouldn't be expected to be involved in such personal matters.

The Medicaid Overhaul: $1 Trillion in Cuts

The law makes the most dramatic changes to Medicaid since the program started in the 1960s. The cuts are so deep that they amount to more than $1 trillion over ten years—the largest reduction in the program’s history.
Here’s what changes:
What ChangesImpactPeople Affected
Work requirementsMust work 80 hours/month to keep coverage4.8 million lose coverage
Stricter state financing rulesStates can’t use provider taxes to fund Medicaid$340 billion in cuts
More frequent eligibility checksCoverage reviewed every 6 months instead of yearlyPart of 7.8 million total loss
Higher copaymentsUp to $35 per doctor visit for some patientsCreates barriers to care

Yes, people gaming the system and illegals getting undeserved healthcare are valid concerns. The unfortunate thing is people who genuinely need it, might not get it because they could not afford it.

Not everyone is ready to go when their time comes around. It baffles me that people are so attached to this life. I am ready to go anytime!

3% growth and inflation in check from sexpectation of a recession due to tariffs. economy chugging along, job report is good, stock market is doing well as nasdaq surges past 23,699. that sums it up.

i just bought a pair of shorts from uniqlo for $29.90 plus tax. made in vietnam. same price as before trump gets into office. uniqlo must have absorbed any tariff increases. these chain retailers deserve to pay higher tariffs as they import from impoverished cuntries at cut-throat cost. margins were over 69%. after tariffs, margins going down to 50% don’t hurt them. if they increase prices cumsumers will balk and buy from alternate discount stores such as ross, marshall or kohl’s. plus warehouses have been full for the past 6.9 years. high inventories from old stock before tariffs have to clear. they can last for another 6.9 years or way over trump’s term in office.

wang yi sings a different tune and calls for cooperation and win-win agreement with amerika. even xinhua the ccp propaganda news outlet publishes a glowing potential of what sino-us relations will be with a cumprehensive trade deal and mending ties. meanwhile xia xuay xi is conspicuously silent, sidelined by purges of his appointees in the pla and detours of the ccp media. sumting is brewing in beijing and may be wang yi is already in charge.

Huh? Work 80 hours a month? That is like 20 hrs a week...so with unemployment rate declining...working 20 hrs a week so hard/meh? N if illegals don't get free health care...wats the problem?

So American citizens and legal residents can't get healthcare ?

there’s a segment of very elderly and bunch of losers who have to rely on medicaid to get healthcare. medicaid is subsidized gov medicine administered at state and county levels. they get fed funding to stay afloat and they don’t make money as patients are all poor. majority of elderly are on medicare which is well funded by taxpayers and contributors who put a lot of tax dollars and social security contributions in their younger days when they work. medicaid takes care of the minority segment who hardly pays their fair share of tax, plus illegals who freeload on pubic healthcare. the two are different. in californicate, there’s a 3rd pubic option: medi-cal which supplements medicaid to help the poor and illegals or those who do not pay tax nor contribute to social security. for those not living in amerika they are often confused between the two.

those who contribute little or nothing to the tax base are the loudest and most entitled when it cums to losing welfare. and they clog up and burden the pubic healthcare system by unnecessary visits everyday. there’s even a gov subsidized van service to transport them from home to hospital, and back. the sooner they die or get deported the better.
