For one thing, all government policy falls under some stat board or another, whichever is responsible for relevant implementation. Shouldn’t public awareness and knowledge be their responsibility?

Then again, I can just as easily argue that educating the general public on navigating policies should fall under the scope of the ruling party and not the government; that is to say, it should be up to the party’s own spokesmen, ideologues, commissars and the like to spread the gospel and blow their own trumpets for the party. To utilise government resources for party activity shouldn’t be permissible.

Grassroots to connect people with PAP? Please lah, they are nothing but noises & loud hailers over the weekend. Everytime called on people to fake support for their master and than make the residents look like a clown. This is called bringing policy to the people? Sound like making offerings to PAP ministers like they are God descendants.

These porlampars are there for their own selfish interests, like

FREE PARKING IN THEIR HOUSING ESTATES
PRIORITY FOR SCHOOL PLACES FOR THEIR CHILDREN
QUALITY FOR THE 5% OF DBSS AND HDB NEW DEVELOPMENTS WHICH ARE KEPT FOR THESE LOOTERS
