No matter how good u feel , its your policies that kills you , what is the point of going to mosque , temples and churches and stadium , national day celebration to boost your luck ,when the things you do has been making people poor , stress and suicidal , coe , erp , gst , levies , fines , high charges of season and hourly parking , high utility charges , high mobile charges , worlds highest cost of ministers , 450% higher that the highest , 450% taxes on everything , highest taxes for petrol in the world , fool people hdb heavily subsidized when its high profiteering of 450% more profits , high road tax , high car insurance premium , high servicing and maintenance charges , low employee salaries for many decades which cannot match greed and inflation and tax profiteering imposed by YOU , worlds highest cost of living with average standard of living , why you add so many CDCs its all bcos you have made more and more people become poor and needy , if Singaporeans are made rich we don’t need any CDC at all. To make matter worst alien (ERP II) SATELLITE is coming to s@ck us even more.

Many past grand parents and parents generation with primary 6 education can support a family of 6 , today and average employee with o level cannot support himself not to mention a spouse , children , family , car and pay bills .

Its your sinful greedy ways that is killing you and your pap party (which is) against people. No need to fake and pretend anymore. For many decades Singaporeans have been tightening their belts long enough and for many decades you have been sucking us dry till we have no money no food and then you pretend to help by increasing CDC , what type of govt is this?

I don’t hate pm lee , but I hate his blood sucking , daytime robbery policies. All who read this remember not be fool by his dirty tricks again , lets change everything , lets vote the pap OUT in this coming election!

During the early years they compulsorily take over private land (now owns almost 80 percent of the land) using the 1967 Land Acquisition Act with the noble socialist aim and ideal to facilitate in building up the infrastructures of the country and to build and provide affordable housing for the masses. This was well received then.

The land were acquired at a very cheap low psf from the then owners and the value of the land since then has gradually multiplied more than a hundredfold up to the thousands psf. The elitist policy planners working with the developers and the bankers are apparently the ones that gain the most out of it. Working around the acquired wealth, the elites justify the high salaries they are getting and the developers and the bankers profitted hugely through raising and pegging high pricings for the land and providing mortgage schemes to attract the masses into buying their 99 years leasehold flats.

As a matter of right, could the surviving descendants of those landowners and I am sure there are many of them and many may not even realize it, seek redress for losing their valued inheritance in this manner, considering how this wealth had moved or “transferred” from their fathers and grandfathers who surrendered their land parcels cheaply to the govt as required by legislation, and on to the hands of the policy makers who upped the value of the land parcels and together with the developers and bankers create the now high priced public housing.

The question is whether they had kept to the true purpose of using the acquired land for building the country and for the benefit of providing reasonably priced homes for the masses.

Interestingly enough this may be like some Robin Hood robbing the rich to help the poor but instead becoming rich themselves through the smart (selfish?) use of the wealth of others and how through the unique ” tripatism” of the caretakers and the developers and bankers, the price of land soared (and how did this happened?) and the question now whether the original owners and their descendants have been shortchanged.

Is there any legal basis to seek redress in this complex issue.
