A JAPANESE executive will receive about $650,000 in compensation for an accident which left his teenage son wheelchair bound five years ago.
Mr Hiroyasu Kuroki, who is in his 50s, spent over $479,000 rebuilding his home in Japan after the accident in 2005.
He had sought compensation of more than $2.5million from the motorist whose vehicle crashed into his then 14-year-old son, Takafumi, who had been crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing near Tiong Bahru Plaza.
