What do you dislike about the things people do in your neighbourhood?

For me its the young and healthy who insist to take the lift down when they stay 5th level and below...the other group are the cyclists and pmds all able bodied to ride but insist on hoarding the lift when going home...queues at and lack of Axs machines usually q until seow esp on the last day of the month.. lastly i am very surprised my block is only cleaned once a month by the town council...

This is the month I hate most, I am not insensitive to other's religious beliefs, but to step out of your flat downstairs, to find it smoky, wading through sea of incense papers, looking out for 'small land mines' like light candles & joss stick on the floor... The air stinks with all the paper burning....the seventh month every year....we all have to bear with the pollution.

One thing better is now, more people are using the bins provided, but there are those who will burn theirs, wherever they feel they like. The TC cleaners are doing a good job clearing the mess...but at times, they are over-whelmed.

One thing I want to ask....why can't theses people have a communal worshipping & burning of incense? say at a designated place in one are for instance? can they do that?

Because not everyone worships the same gods/deities, and usually it's more convenient to do it near the home altar at the corridor.

For example, the Hokkiens 'go crazy' with the incense and joss paper burning on a certain day of the first lunar month, other Chinese dialect groups don't do that.

The ninth day...with the sugar canes..if I am not wrong. But how do places in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia..manage?

This I like too but I lack your prowess to determine whether she's ovulating
But you have your own unique talent. You can see through the panties across the Causeway to determine if a hymen is still intact.
