It used to be as poor as the church mouse that saying is not wrong, back in those days, religious people lived a vow of poverty, hence the church larder is frequently empty..poor mouse.

But this is the year 2013, pastors have crossover to swanky abode & over waters to Sentosa Cover...where more than milk & honey flows, they feast on airflown beef from Japan & even fly in the chef, the wash themselves with DOM P, & caviar, certain time of the year truflles & even foi gras...the church Rats today are no longer poor.
