1) 22 July - Norway. Far right extremist Anders Behring Breivik killed 77 people and injured 151 in a carefully planned bombing and shooting spree.

2) Today - Florence, Italy. In a racist attack, Right-wing gun nut Gianluca Casseri killed 2 Senegalese market vendors and wounded 3 others before turning the gun on himself when police surrounded him.

3) Also today - Liège, Belgium. Convicted gun fanatic Nordine Amrani lobs grenades at lunchtime Christmas shopping crowd. Latest count: 6 killed, 125 injured.

Stopped in his tracks: A body, thought to be gunman Nordine Amrani, lies on the pavement close to a gun and full clips of ammunition. It is unknown whether Amrani killed himself deliberately or accidentally
