Be it PAP or opposition, every political party want you to give them power to rule over you!
Of course we can't have no government, that is not realistic, but if you want to choose, choose carefully. I will vote for the party that allow me to retain my rights and power as an individual than to give them more power and rights.
The more power the government have, the less freedom you will have to make your own decisions. Think about it. Be it PAP or the oppositions.
Ask yourself, why did you need to pay TV licence? What is the point? What is it used for? Do you have any say?
Why must you contribute to CPF? If it's your money, why can't you have a say on how you will use it and when you want to use it? If it's your money, why do you get charged in court for not "saving" up in your CPF account? Any logic?
Why do we have to pay income tax? We are already taxed so much. Buy house got taxed, buy groceries-GST tax, buy car-COE+road tax+ERP, etc...
So why are we still paying income tax? Why is our income taxed? Aren't we master of this land that we live in or are we slave to this land and the government are our master and whatever we produce ourselves here own by them? Think about it. Who is the master and who are the slave? Aren't the government servant to it's citizens?
Remember, all laws and policies may have started with "good" intentions. However, it will enslave you to the ones who write the laws if you don't have a say of how you want it to be.
Watch the video and see the reality for it is. Power and freedom will only come to those who want to be responsible for it. The more power you give to someone, the less freedom you will have to enjoy. Think about it.
