Dear all,
If a small island is ruled by aristocracy, either naturally or man- made, its people will pay for a high price.
Most of the shopping centers, hawker centers, healthcare centers, etc etc, in Singapore are run by the aristocrats .
Country ruled aristocracy will invite more mega-rich aliens to come to roost because they are safe under such government. In the end, these tycoons and mammon artificially cause the living costs to go up . The islanders suffer the most .
Look at the system they put in place— public rental bidding for eatery and grocery and other convenient stores, COE bidding for cars, etc, are only pushing up the operating costs that ultimately have to be paid by the people. The top 20% of the society under this aristocracy have no problems.
In the same vein, such government plays angel by giving out vouchers and subsidies to the general public which are gimmicks to make them feel good but not a cure .
Under this system, the aristocrats pay themselves over the moon and cry a river that they understand the peasants while they dine and wine in deep velvet nights cursing the disgruntled peasants who they short-changed.
Vouchers and subsidies are just distractions , it is a cruel deed to whitewash the torments inflicted collaterally on the not-savvy islanders. Greed is the word.
Vote PAP out , vote out aristocracy. Bring Singapore back to republic. Don’t even bother the Proclamation on 9/8/2015, it is a just politick wayang that makes no pride. So do hanging flags and pennants are just as primitive.
Please spread the words around. Give our children a chance to live with healthy minds and a wholesome life in Singapore. Forget the NDP wayang, lets bring on the election fever.
