Vivian claim success in war over dengue! True or not

Well done Vivian. I know we could count on you to make good things happen.

Should be "I know I can count on you to make good things happen".

Praise the Lord. God is great. So Great. Oh so great.

Speaking in tongue: Shilabala, vilabala, oh shilabala, shila vila vivian bala krishna...

credit must go to vivian. he prayed for divine intervention, and the haze came and chased away or eliminated all mosquitoes. he's truly divine.

"..we could.." is perfectly acceptable. "we can" implies an ongoing endorsement which may not necessarily be the case.

Wtf?

When dengue numbers were rising past the 10,000 mark was there any indication about the seriousness of the fuckingprblem? In fact when it had gone beyond 11,000 and then 12,000 you certainly did NOT hear this fucking gloryseeker tellng everybody a single word about the escalating problem right? So sinkies "should not be too fixated b the numbers" again right? Ccb!!

Now that the numbers are declining he wants to start claiming credit for this......fuck you vivian....you are one good fr nothing useless fuckng minister as demonstrated by both you and that "we are price takers" shanmugam......

Both of you just deaerved to ge brought down by a few pegs are the disclosure of your sheer uselessness and bluearsed fly incompetencein the face of a crisis......

Singaporeans and not the government are to be blamed for the dengue crisis. When Vivian left it to the people of Singapore to the do right thing to prevent mosquito breeding, they adopted a cavalier attitude towards the whole issue and ignored the risks.

It took a capable minister like Vivian to step in to turn things around. I congratulate him for a job well done.

This once again shows that Singaporeans can't be treated like responsible adults. They have to be treated like kids in order for the country to function.

It goes to show that if you leave a problem long enough, it'll solve by itself.

Better still, some twit like Sam will say something in praise of the govt, which it desperately hankers after. Then it'll make their day and ruin it for the rest of us.

The PAPee govt needs only to weed out those mischievous whiners on online media, or to black out the anti-govt chatter from the loyal 60.1%.

Don't we all love facebook posts, if things go awry, he can always claim it was posted by an admin.

Don't let the MSM trick you. The budget was ~$100m and Vivian spent ~$390m, that's not 3 times, it's 4. Just because Straits Times editor failed in Mathematics and significantly ROUND DOWN the number, doesn't mean we should either.

The Surgeon General has categorically declared that denque is no longer a category A health threat here.

She has opened negotiation with the mosquito high tribune and the latter has officially said they will be migrating to Batam, reason being the blood of humans here are not sweet enough.

Just after lunch, VB stood at the balcony of his office with his grassloot leaders and said to the sun, 'I order you to set.'

He then went back into his office, deep in thought about integrity and high areas, the grasslooters in tow. They sat silently in the aircon comfort of his spacious office.

At 7pm, he led them back out to the balcony. He glanced westward and turned to the grasslooters, 'see, the sun has obeyed.'

There were synchronous murmurs of adulation at the great feat just displayed.

Not half as ridiculous as the notion that if the PAP is voted out of office in 2016, the lives of all Sinkies will be transformed for the better.
