This movie looks badass, but it's worth noting that in real life the Dahomey's way of life included human sacrifice and the preservation of the slave trade, from which they profited. It'll be interesting to see if the film tackles that head on or just focuses on the "badass women warriors." To be clear: this movie really does look good, but it may also be a bit of revisionist history (which is nothing new in Hollywood, of course.
