Same as Lian bang (a coalition government) - as we term Msian as.

It had been used for ages, even till today, we & Malaysia were one...used to be, we are Malysians..do not forget SINgapore became independent in 1963, when we joined MALAYSIA, & as a Nation in 1965..Nation of sinGAPORE...you can say, that the 'jiu hoo kia' most probably then.
