The 'Islamic revolution' of Iran was most likely the handiwork of Henry Kissinger, LKY's sifu.
The same Kissinger who paved the way for Nixon to visit China... and the rest is history. That's why even when Kissinger had one foot in the coffin and couldn't walk properly without assistance, he was still invited to Beijing to give talks, and praised as 'China's old friend'.
