Southern Yemen (controlled by the Houthis and entered the war lately) and southern Iran have formed a perilous strategic triangle overlooking the Arabian Sea. Any carrier or warship venturing near this zone faces the risk of attack from these two regions. Their missile launchers are well-protected by the rugged, fortified natural mountainous terrain. Despite multiple airstrikes and bombings by the U.S. and Israel, the inflicted damage has been minimal, and such efforts have largely proven ineffective.
