@SarahC2
1: The Earth cable has no wire in it.2: The mains plug has no fuse in it, allowing 32 Amps into much lower amp sockets.
3: Live wire is connected to Neutral in one row of the plugs.
4: The wiring inside cannot carry even moderate loads (like a 1 bar heater/hair dryer).
5: The USB plugs transformer can fail, making the USB plugs 240 volts.
6: The power button turns off the Neutral wire. (meaning Live is still live in all sockets!)
7: The "copper" wire is in fact cheap aluminium with a thin coating of copper. (heats up)
8: Protective capacitor in the USB unit fails closed, not open.
9: The ground pin on the plug is half-shielded! It shouldn't have any.
Simply put - a death trap of epic proportions! Most of the issues above result in:
1: Heat build up, and fire.
2: Electrocution.
