5:12 He finally dispatches the cuttlefish. Honestly if that was the first thing he did it would've been about 100% more ethical.

He ripped its organs out LONG before that... No organs equals dead...

@richard mitchell That's not how cuttlefish anatomy works. Or honestly a lot of animals. No organs can equal death or shock. But brain death is the quickest way to true death. Colors on cuttlefish and squid/octopus are a good indicator of awareness. When they go suddenly pale death has been achieved. Otherwise they're still responding to their environment.

@WolfTwisted you got any links or proof at all to that claim?

@richard mitchell The dying animal by Jessica pierce is a good study piece but Thanatology in general would hold the answers you're looking for.

@WolfTwisted Unfortunately you are right. It's so quick and easy to spare these creatures from needless suffering. Also Cuttlefish are extremely intelligent - so much that they can pass tests designed for human children.

@Waylon Smithers wow - and that's impressive. I too thought that why he had to be so cruel while he was "dispatching" the poor thing. Why don't they just put them first on ice ? Wouldn't that be a more humane thing to do ?...
