These days, many staffs are using WiFi in the office instead of wired LAN.

Here's the catch, what will happen if all your neighboring office including your firm has configured
their router to use the "same WiFi channel" as yours?

1) Will it cause your staff's laptop WiFi connection to drop/disconnected frequently?
2) Will your staff ended up can't even connect to WiFi network at all?
3) Will it slow down your upload/download speed?
4) Will it affect your own network performance?

What is the best practice to avoid such situations?

Thanks. This article does help.

If your office building already start to jam pack with so many neighboring WiFi routers, the only way is to choose a channel that gives less interference?

As time progress more people in the building would like to use WiFi for their smart phones especially when the 3 telco are so stingy with the data bundle
these days. It's going to cause more interference and disconnections.
