There is a distinct difference between the real millionaires and the Sinkie millionaires. The real ones are full of money in their pockets, can afford several houses, cars and mistresses if they wanted. They live a life of leisure, and their wives and mistresses enjoy the lifestyle of tais tais, going for afternoon tea and chat the days away, and travelling in their big limousines.

Many of the Sinkie millionaires could never get near to this kind of lifestyle.

Sinkie millionaires - drive up in their mercedes to temples and tarpau packets of free vegetarian food back isit?

If the FAP ministers feel shortchanged despite their multi-million-dollar pay cheques, why should ordinary millionaires 'feel rich'?

A million dollars in the context of a Singaporean is not a lot. It's equivalent to about £500,000. Two and a half weeks wages for Didier Drogba at Shanghai Shenhua.

Or they could, but they'll be maxed out on credit debt.

Sometimes you'll also see Sinkies eating plain bread and cup noodles everyday because they had splurged on a piece of shit car, depleting almost all of their disposable income.

Football stars earn much, much more from product endorsements. In Drogba's case, that would be mainly Pepsi and Adidas.

SINgapore politicians of the 'white' kind earn much more, read how many companies "endorsements" they are in, what is a footballer, at least they chase balls for a living, whereas the former, squeeze balls for their pleasures & living!

It depends on the person's lifestyle and spending patterns and possibly most importantly, how many "hangers on" he has in his "entourage".
Mike Tyson's career earnings was reported to be US$300 Million but he had to file for bankruptcy.
Same for many NBA players who earned easily 8 or 9 figures in their careers but could not even pay child support at the end of their careers.
Of course, some had double digit children with different women.
