UBS Explores moving Headquarters out of Switzerland Unless Regulators Reduce Capital Demands

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...-headquarters-unless-swiss-cut-capital-demand

According to Bloomberg, UBS Group is examining the potential relocation of its headquarters if Switzerland sticks to its demand that the bank hold an extra $25 billion in capital.

Why is it significant? Bear in mind, UBS just took over Credit Sussie 26 months ago. This is like two huge banks moving out of Switzerland.

They can move their HQ to the huge building opposite Plaza Singapura. :barefoot::alien::tongue:

lots of banks, big and small are holding underwater treasury bonds....thats why the extra capital demands
Maybe too much risky asset need more capital to back their books under Basel Law IV
