Two arrested for robbery near Farrer Park Road

The police have arrested two 23-year-old men believed to have been involved in a robbery in the vicinity of Farrer Park Road last Friday.

The 44-year-old victim was walking along a footpath while talking on his mobile phone with his wife when the two men approached him.

One of the suspects allegedly pushed him hard on his face causing him to fall onto the ground.The other one then stole the phone that he had dropped. Both the suspects then fled.

Earlier on Friday, between 2.15 pm and 3.15 pm, the suspects were arrested in the vicinity of Jurong West Street 41 and Pasir Ris Street 11 respectively.

SINGAPORE: Police arrested two 23-year old men believed to be involved in a case of robbery near Farrer Park Road on August 19.

On that day at about 11.39 pm, police said they were informed of a case of robbery involving a 44-year-old male victim.

Two male suspects approached the victim, and one of them pushed him hard on his face, causing him to fall.

The victim was then relieved of his mobile phone, which he was still holding in his hand, and both the suspects fled.

On Friday afternoon, between 2.15pm and 3.15pm, the suspects were arrested in the vicinity of Jurong West Street 41 and Pasir Ris Street 11.
