Two arrested for outrage of modesty

Police have arrested two men for suspected involvement in separate outrage of modesty cases.

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested two men for suspected involvement in separate outrage of modesty cases.
Both suspects are aged 21.
The first case happened at about 6.50am on Wednesday.
A woman, who was onboard a bus travelling towards Woodlands Bus Interchange, said she had been molested. The victim, with the help of her companions, managed to detain the suspect at the bus interchange.
The second case happened later the same day at about 2.50pm.
The victim reported that she was molested by a man along Woodlands Ave 4.
Based on the victim's description of the suspect, officers managed to spot and arrest the man who was in the vicinity.
Initial investigations show that the man is believed to be involved in another outrage of modesty case reported in Bukit Batok.
Police said investigations against the suspect in the first case is in progress.
The suspect in the second case will be charged in court on Friday.
If convicted, both men can be jailed up to 2 years, fined and caned.
