I’m from zhejiang and in my hometown people say 调羹. Then I spent 4 years in Beijing for college, that’s when I realized northern people don’t really understand 调羹, most people just say 勺子 / 勺 / 勺儿

Singapore follows Taiwanese Mandarin, the word for "spoon" can be 湯匙 (tāng chí), 勺子 (sháo zi), or 調羹 (tiáo gēng). While all three are understood, 湯匙 (tāng chí) is more commonly used. 勺子 (sháo zi) is also widely used, and 調羹 (tiáo gēng) is another option.
