The United States has officially approved a 0% import tariff for specific products originating from three key members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN): Thailand, Malaysia, and Cambodia.


The decision, formalised under new agreements, was announced during the recent ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur.

President Donald Trump authorised the tariff exemption measures, reversing an earlier imposition of a reciprocal 19% retaliatory tariff that had affected the nations.

The approval, reported by the news agency DetikFinance, means a variety of goods from the three Southeast Asian countries will now be able to enter the US market duty-free.

This trade concession is seen as a significant move by Washington to deepen economic cooperation and promote trade diversity across the region.

Thailand’s Reciprocal Deal

Thailand and the US reached a “Reciprocal Trade” Framework Agreement designed to expand bilateral economic ties and investment.

Under the terms of the deal, Thailand committed to purchasing US agricultural products, energy supplies, and aircraft valued at over $20 billion USD.

In return, Bangkok agreed to scrap tariffs on nearly 99% of US goods. While the US retained its 19% retaliatory customs tariff on most products, it granted a 0% tariff status to certain selected Thai items.

Details concerning which Thai products are included in this exemption have not yet been released.

Thailand, Malaysia and Cambodia are HUGE lush and fertile valleys and CAN see huge potential growth in agriculture and infrastructure growth which means far MORE OPPORTUNITIES to citizens' life in employment, education, construction and more for EACH citizen living in those Nations thru Humankind's further investments in potentially stable countries under wise and pragmatic leaders...rather than the zero sum games they played often in social governances....

Perhaps, such opportunities should be extended to Indonesia too...? Should the populace, most if not all are merely of hardworking Polynesian descent whom are still entrapped and enchained by Arab colonization since the 10th century thru a twisted religion that was not what the Divine sent prophet Muhammad had taught, see better opportunities to live the gift of live in their Paradise that Indonesia is to provide food on the table for themselves, family and loved ones to progress and evolve,...? Malaysia, Cambodia and Thailand are LANDLOCKED lands, with FAR more potential to house tech and innovative trade and manufacturing infrastructures than Singapore, which has only LIMITED Land space, and at times, even have to TURN AWAY MNCs desire to set up manufacturing plants in our proven safe and Rule of Law country.

HOWEVER, the PROGRESS and EVOLUTION made by Malaysia, Thailand and Cambodia, done in PEACE, will HAVE POSITIVE effects upon our Nation, as WE are NOT without RESOURCES of our own - our NUMEROUS DEEPWATER PORTS surrounding our country, which is fortunately placed in a position WHEREBY ALL POINTS OF THE COMPASS MEETS FOR TRADE.

Thus, we Singaporeans will earn an honest living by serving the intra-trade and trans-shipment of goods Worldwide, providing jobs, opportunities and revenue to our National Treasury, as well as creating employment for citizens not just in ports, but in security, whom are dedicated to ensure that only honest goods passes thru our ports.



The closest competitor is the long talked about Kra Canal Project in Thailand, which is a joke as it would need several MEGATONS of Nukes to create such a channel, in an era whereby ENVIRONEMTALISTS from every corner of planet Earth will scream MURDER, as the lingering nuclear radioactive isotopes WILL harm both Thailand and neighbouring countries for DECADES, harming their agricultural and even Human lives.
