A number of factors have driven many Singaporeans away from our shores. They include globalisation, business opportunities overseas, displaced by foreign talents locally, emigration to greener pastures, postings etc.

Yet they return when they can ot be reunited with family and friends. Crossed oceans, flew a thousand miles, crossed borders, baggageful of goodies and much more.

To those who did not make it this year, there is always next year.

To each and everyone of you welcome back and a Happy Chinese New Year. Time to break out the tipple, the cards and a wonderful feast just before that. Those looking for a change this year drinkwise, try strong apple cider.
