Travelling to Chiang Mai, KL and Swatow

Hi,

I've been living out of Singapore for quite a while (30 years) and will be travelling soon to these 3 places.

Can any one of you Samsters advise (I know its not advice) on the following:

Hotels in Chiang Mai about 1 week
Hotels in KL about 3- 4 days
Places to eat in KL : satay, similar hawker food in Singapore like char kway teow, or luak, chicken rice etc

Places to stay and eat in Swatow about 1 week.

Hope I can enjoy myself.

I am not an NS escapee, I did my full term probably more than most of you.
