Travellers cheated in 'one for the price of two' scam

A FOREIGNER based in Malaysia is cheating his customers by passing off one-way air tickets as return tickets, China Press reported.

The man wooed his victims by offering tickets 40% cheaper than the market price, it reported, adding that at least 10 people and several travel agents were conned by him in the Klang Valley recently.

A victim and his six family members were stranded in Bangkok when they were told by the airline that they had only bought one-way tickets.

Another found out that his air ticket had been cancelled just before boarding.

The conman had not paid for the tickets even though the victim had settled in full, it reported.

> Kwong Wah Yit Poh reported that a 48-year-old woman cut off the penis of a one-year-old boy who was playing outside his house in Guangdong, China, recently.

The woman and the boy’s family were neighbours.

The boy was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors managed to reattach the penis.

However, the boy is still in critical condition.
