Traffic worry along Nassim Road
<!-- by line --><!-- end by line -->

I WISH to highlight the dangers that confront my family each time we drive out of our home in Nassim Road.
Despite the continuous white line along the stretch of road and countless complaints to the Traffic Police, every day, there are long rows of heavy vehicles, cars and trucks parked along the narrow road by contractors working on projects nearby.
The danger comes when we want to make a turn and our view of oncoming traffic is completely blocked. This has caused several near misses with other vehicles, despite our best attempts to inch out safely.
I appeal to the authorities to look into this matter urgently. Even a simple act by the Land Transport Authority, like putting up traffic mirrors at strategic locations along Nassim Road, could help to prevent a major traffic accident and loss of life.
I look forward to hearing from the authorities and some concrete action being taken soon.
