For urban areas, dinkie, new york, EV will win. Short urban trips cannot beat EV.
For long distance, ICE.
But China now have EREV. EV with ice generator. EV range about 50-200km smaller batteries. For urban use which is 90% of the time. Reliable except for battery depletion over say 15 years.
ICE generators when travelling long distance or going camping. Can use battery to power fridge and cool water. And sleep in air con.

Toyota does not have this. Only china cars got this. Taking too long for others to catch up. Game over in non tariffs countries for non china brands.
